The Psychotherapeutic Centre "Joulietta Kalli-Laouri & Associates” provides therapeutic and diagnostic services to children, adolescents, adults and families who face psychosocial health issues/problems.
Some of the problems we deal with as part of our job include:

✿ Feelings of loneliness, depression, failure and fear
✿ Obsessive compulsive disorder
✿ Psychosomatic disorders (eating disorders, headaches, etc.)

✿ Adjustment problems to school, workplace and to other life changes (e.g. divorce, bereavement)

Our goal is to develop a place where multidisciplinary, pluralistic and integrated services are provided to individuals, children, adolescents, adults and families facing certain difficulties which hinder their psychosocial development. If necessary, referral to other professionals can be provided. A large network of associate partners collaborate with our team. It is our belief that cooperation is a significant factor in dealing with problems, thus, we maintain a very close relationship with other Doctors, Social Services, the Ministry of Education, Kindergartens, Educational Institutions and Social Assistance Institutions.
Assessment
Assessment involves the collection, synthesis and evaluation of information derived from interviews and other tests. Assessment aims to determine the nature and severity of the problem, to get an understanding of the conditions governing the creation and persistence of the problem, as well as to assess the capacities and sources of power of the individual, the family and the environment.
Assessment involves all or some of the following:
✿ Child psychiatric assessment and investigation
✿ Psychometric and educational assessment
✿ Psycho-emotional assessment
✿ Psychosocial assessment
✿ Clinical observations and behavioral assessment of the individual and the environment
✿ Assessment of the capacities of the individual, the family and the environment
Once the initial assessment process is complete, a specific therapeutic recommendation, in accordance with the problems and needs identified, can be given.
Child and Adolescent Therapy

Depending on the case and, if necessary, a combination of the above therapeutic services is proposed. In addition, referral to other professionals (Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists etc.) or services is provided.
